Admit it pretty much all of us here have gone out of our way to park next to the same car as ours at least once.

That’s one of t he cardinal Jeep rules.

Oh well, yeah! I like it when someone parks theirs next to me, too. Feels like they’re affirming both of our good taste in automobiles.

Edit because Kinja. Somehow replied to myself instead of who I wanted to.

I’ve actually seen clusters of like 4-5 Wranglers just pop up organically here.

When I first got my MR2, I’d park next to cool import cars and attempt to photoshop Fast ’n Furious posters of the pictures I took.
Can’t get Kinja to upload from mobile rn though and that’s a bummer.

Where can I find a copy of the Book of Cardinal Jeep Rules? I’m curious to see how extensive the requirements get for ownership. My Book of Cardinal MR2 Rules is pretty intense.

For now you just have to pick the details out of my series. I’ll get around to publishing the rulebook eventually.

There are more 4Runners in your pic than Raptors! I’d swap mine for a Raptor though, it sure does look like you’re having lots of fun with it!

Probably to enhance the chance that the insurance would not think there is foul play when the car will spontaneously combust ?

I had to copyright pictures on my post replies last time or it would not post , not sure why but it might be the same bug you encountered?

love it - we had three WRB WRXs lined up at Target this afternoon. Better than getting door dings from Karens...

I went looking for a post where I did this recently and found this much older one

There are tons of 4Runners up here. Split across all generations. Probably the most common thing on the road after Outbacks. Wranglers are close but a lot people here seem to prefer reliability to the open air experience. Honestly if I could afford a TRD Pro it would be a tempting alternative. The Raptor is a hoot and I like having a pickup bed for a lot of things but for just general family camping way down rocky trails a 4Runner with more seat space and locking storage probably makes more sense.

There are a ton here, too. I think if you take the Rockies region, of the 100k or so 4Runners sold last year, 98,274 of them are here. I can’t stop at a light without being at least 1 or 2 others, it seems.

Can confirm. Mine is the one on the right. Same wheels, same everything, just the model year differences.

I did that once, a matching black 2nd gen GS300, theirs was a refresh but matching otherwise. Even their license play was only 1 digit off. Crazy stuff, sadly the picture was lost in a phone transfer.
